Bug: filter calibration fix to improve voice to voice cutoff consistency on some units Users who experienced this issue must clear calibration and re-run calibration post update. Be advised that the first calibration may take longer than usual. To clear calibration, hold manual and press 3. Power cycle the unit, then run calibration by holding manual and pressing 0.

How to update the Sequential OB-6

1. Download the OB-6 OS zip from the OB-6 section of the Oberheim support page and unzip it (it contains the .syx file and instructions). 2. On the OB-6 press Globals, press program button 8 (MIDI SysEx) and use the Bank/Tens buttons to choose USB or MIDI ("nid"), then press Globals twice to exit. 3. Close all other audio, MIDI and DAW software and connect the OB-6 to the computer by USB or through a MIDI interface (computer MIDI out to OB-6 MIDI in). 4. Send the .syx file with MIDI-OX (Windows: set Low Level Output Buffers Num and Size to 1024, choose the OB-6 port, Load File, Send SysEx) or SysEx Librarian (Mac: choose the destination, add the file, Play). 5. Two countdowns run (loading, about 6-7 minutes, then writing). Do not power off: the OB-6 restarts by itself and shows the new OS version at power-up.
