Sequential Pro 3 firmware

Download the Pro 3 OS zip from the Pro 3 Operating System page and unzip it. Install a SysEx utility: SysEx Librarian on Mac or MIDI-OX on Windows. On the Pro 3 press Global, set MIDI Sysex Enable to On and MIDI Sysex Cable to USB or MIDI, then press Global to exit. Close other MIDI/DAW software and connect the Pro 3 to the computer with a USB cable or a MIDI interface. Send the OS .syx file: in SysEx Librarian choose the Pro 3 or your interface as Destination, add the file and click Play; in MIDI-OX set the Low Level Output Buffers Num and Size to 1024, then Load File and Send SysEx. The download contains a Main OS and a Panel OS: send the Main OS first and restart the Pro 3 when it has finished writing, then send the Panel OS and restart again. Never send both at once. Do not power off while the OS is being written. After the update reset the Global parameters (Global > Commands tab > Reset Globals) and calibrate the oscillators and filters from the same tab.
