How to update the Sequential Fourm

Download the OS update offered on the Fourm Operating System page and unzip it. Install a SysEx utility: SysEx Librarian on Mac or MIDI-OX on Windows. On the Fourm press GLOBAL and, with the SELECT encoder, set page 19 MIDI SysX to On and page 20 MIDI SysX Port to USB (USB-C) or MIDI, then press PROGRAM to save. Close other MIDI/DAW software and connect the Fourm to the computer with a USB-C cable or a MIDI interface. Send the OS .syx file: in SysEx Librarian choose the Fourm or your interface as Destination, add the file and click Play; in MIDI-OX set the Low Level Output Buffers Num and Size to 1024, then Load File and Send SysEx. Do not power off while the OS is being written. When the Fourm shows FINISHED UPDATING, turn it off and back on with the rear power switch. The Main OS and the keybed (Keys) OS are both installed this way.
