How to update the Sequential Trigon-6

Download the Trigon-6 OS zip from the Trigon-6 Operating System page and unzip it. Install a SysEx utility: SysEx Librarian on Mac or MIDI-OX on Windows. On the Trigon-6 press Globals, press program button 8 (MIDI SysEx) and choose USB or MIDI with the Bank/Tens buttons, then press Globals twice to exit. Close other MIDI/DAW software and connect the Trigon-6 to the computer with a USB cable or a MIDI interface. Send the OS .syx file: in SysEx Librarian choose the Trigon-6 or your interface as Destination, add the file and click Play; in MIDI-OX set the Low Level Output Buffers Num and Size to 1024, then Load File and Send SysEx. Do not power off while the OS is being written. A long loading countdown is followed by a short writing countdown and the Trigon-6 restarts by itself; if it hangs on 1 after the second countdown, wait 60 seconds and power cycle. Reset the Globals afterwards (GLOBALS + WRITE).
