How to update the Befaco Iroi

The update replaces the Iroi patch (the sound engine) in the browser with OWL Web Control. 1. Download patch.syx from the Assets of the GitHub release linked above ("firmware page on github.com"). 2. Power the module and connect it to your computer with a USB cable on the back. 3. Click Open web updater (OWL Web Control) in Chrome or Chromium and allow MIDI access. 4. Check that the page says "Connected to Iroi". 5. Click Choose file, select patch.syx, press Store and accept slot 1. The number on that page is the module firmware, not the patch. Only when a release also ships an Iroi.syx file and asks you to flash it, load that file first on the OWL Web Control firmware page (pingdynasty.github.io/OwlWebControl/firmware.html). Builds marked Pre-release on GitHub (beta, rc) are test versions.
