How to update the OTO Machines BOUM

Download the BOUM firmware .syx file from otomachines.com/support/ and unzip it. Connect the BOUM to a MIDI interface via the MIDI IN port. Use a SysEx librarian application (e.g. SysEx Librarian on Mac) to send the .syx file. Keep the unit powered on during transfer. Refer to the BOUM Upgrade Instructions PDF on the support page for full details.
