Update via MIDI SysEx. Download the Biscuit firmware (a zipped .syx file) from otomachines.com/support/, unzip, connect Biscuit MIDI IN to a computer MIDI interface, then send the .syx file using a SysEx-capable tool — SysEx Librarian (Mac) or MIDI-OX (Windows). Refer to the Biscuit Upgrade Procedure PDF on the same support page. OTO also publishes Der OTO as an alternate firmware mask for Biscuit with a different sound engine — see the Biscuit Der OTO section on the support page.

OTO Machines Biscuit (discontinued). Current file on support page is Biscuit_Rev_1_2.syx (uploaded April 2017). DB has firmware_version=2.3 — likely a legacy import error, since OTO no longer publishes anything newer than 1.2 for the main Biscuit OS. Biscuit_Der_OTO (alternate mask, v2.4) is a different firmware mode. Needs_review flagged for version reconciliation.
