What's new in X!

- please reflash the version X! if you have an X installed - fully rewritten multiband compressor code - dry and wet (holding VU + VOLUME) phase-aligned without flangering for NY-style compression - pedal better behaves with Strymon Ojai - but still requires alternative power adapter for update (processor speficic cause). - Bypass state, VU meter state and last selected preset are now properly restored on the next power-up - added third VU meter (semi-on LED) showing gain reduction: low band on LEFT VU-meter scale and mid and high bands on RIGHT VU-meter scale - added a redesigned MID/SIDE widener that uses dual parallel decorrelation paths to both turn mono material into stereo and enhance existing stereo content, with separate Mid and High implementations, including longer-delay filtering and subtle LFO movement in the High band for a livelier, more natural spatial image - improved crossover bands - less noise on the input gain knob - fixed all possible buzzing knobs/fade/bypass sounds as the ADC sample rate aligned with the audio rate

How to update the Endorphin.es Golden Master Pedal

Update via audio. 1. Download the firmware update from the product page (zip, or the audio file directly) and use the newest WAV file. 2. If you power the pedal from a Strymon Ojai, use a different power adapter for the update. 3. Power off the pedal and unplug all cables except one mono or stereo cable from your computer or phone headphone output to AUDIO IN 1. 4. Set the playback volume to 100% or slightly lower, and turn off notifications and any EQ, room correction or audio effects. 5. Hold the PRESET footswitch while powering the pedal on: preset LEDs 1-3 blink one after another. 6. Play the WAV file (30+ seconds); the 14 VU LEDs fill from left to right to show progress. 7. The pedal reboots automatically when the update is installed.
