How to update the Modor DR-2

Download the DR-2 firmware upgrade files (zip) from the DR-2 section of the Modor downloads page and unzip them. Firmware is installed via MIDI SysEx: connect the DR-2 to your computer by MIDI and use a SysEx app (Modor Sysex Transceiver, or SysEx Librarian / MIDI-OX with ~15 ms delay between buffers). In SYSTEM SETTINGS make sure SysexRx is ON. If your DR-2 runs OS006 or lower, first reboot holding SHIFT+MODEL until it shows "Waiting for Sysex Upgrade" and send the included OS013 file. Then, with the DR-2 running normally, send the bootloader v3 file (DR2_Bootloader_v3.syx). Reboot while holding SHIFT+MODEL; the display shows "Waiting for (v3) Sysex Upgrade". Send the new OS file. After restarting you can also send DR2_Single_Instruments_FactoryPresets.syx to load the single-instrument presets. Check the installed version in the SYSTEM SETTINGS menu.
