How to update the Isla Instruments KordBot

Update in the browser: open the KordBot Firmware Updater on the Isla Electronics support site in Chrome or Edge; the latest firmware loads automatically. Unplug KordBot, push a pen through the small hole underneath and hold the button inside while plugging USB into the computer, release it, click Connect KordBot, then Install firmware. Leave KordBot connected until the progress bar finishes. On Windows, if the browser cannot open KordBot, install the WinUSB driver once with Zadig and refresh the page. Units that already have the SD-card updater can instead copy the .upf file from the downloads page to the root of the SD card (only one update file on the card), insert it and restart KordBot. Do not interrupt power during the update.
