- New Features: - Added new MIDI pitchbend out and MIDI pressure (aftertouch) out modules. - Bug Fixes: - Fixed crash when deleting a patch from the patch screen. - Fixed LED flicker when pressing buttons on patches with many modules. - Fixed crash when deleting a patch from the patch screen. - Fixed crash when reverse delay had a large delay time. - Fixed CV graph when displaying negative cv values. - Fixed granular bug with loading existing granular patches sounding bad until jack CV values were modified. - RAM/Matrix/Module Usage menu: - The 'Matrix DSP' value represents DSP usage excluding module processing. This value should never be negative. - Updated formatting for improved readability: - Usage values are fixed-width and right-aligned. - Module names are truncated to fit the remaining space based on index width.

- Bug fix: Bank preset UI was toggling bypass state every time the patch changed. Now it maintains its current bypass state. - Bug fix: Bank preset UI with start patch 0 would seem to hang on the waveforms generation screen because no patch was ever loaded. We now load patch 0 in that scenario. - Bug fix: Bank preset UI would not start-up in bypassed state.

- Fixed CV Mixer bug where screen would show an attenuation of 0.00 but still trigger other CVs with its output. - Updated granular module: - New longer grain sizes (4 seconds and 16 seconds) available in the module options. - Grain parameters now update at the end of the silence output so that modulating parameters continuously with CV jacks doesn't make it sound like density is always set at 1.0. - Setting the grain density to 0.0000 will now make it so that there's no output from the granular.

- Fixed a routing issue with factory patch '18. Tape Worn'. - Fixed the spelling of creator's names in the factory patches. - Firmware 5.10 was built on August 05, 2025, but only released internally. 5.20 is the finished product that addresses any issues found while testing.

- New Features: - Reverse Delay Module: This effect reverses your repeats while giving you control over their pitch. Choose from unity pitch, fine detuning (a few cents up or down), or intervals such as a 4th, 5th, or octave above or below unity. The tap tempo is also slightly different than it is in other modules: rather than having a tap ratio option, enabling tap tempo now adds a dedicated ‘Tap Ratio’ button. - Univibe Module: A multi-dimensional effect that combines vibrato and phase shifting to create lush, swooshing sounds. - Improved the overall CPU performance by 14%. - Refreshed the ZOIA's factory patches, incorporating some of our favourites from Patchstorage and the ZOIA community over the last few years.

- Bug Fixes - Reduced the amount of data that each sequencer module occupies within a patch. This addressed issues that previously prevented some patches from saving correctly. IMPORTANT: Patches containing a sequencer that are saved on firmware version 4.20 (or later) will not load correctly on earlier firmware versions. Please back up your patches before updating, as this lets you restore your patches if needed. - Fixed a slight DSP increase that was introduced in firmware 4.00. - Fixed an issue that was causing certain screens to occasionally become unresponsive. - Fixed crashes that were happening while using the built-in sample rate converter. - When modules with a 'rate' control are set to BPM mode, the rotary encoder now responds to acceleration. Turning the encoder quickly will cause the BPM value to adjust more rapidly.

- Sequencer Updates: - Sequencer CV Step Behaviour: sequencer step can now be controlled by a CV value. In sequencer options, change "behaviour" option to "cv step". - Sequencer CV Ramp Output: along with CV, gate, and ratchet, a new output type called CV Ramp has been added to the sequencer. It ramps linearly between CV step values. - Sequencer Key Input: You can now input cv values into the sequencer steps using a CV input. Adds two new CV inputs: key input note and key input gate. When key input gate is triggered, key input note is programmed into a sequencer step. The "key input" option determines which step is programmed: - key input: active: the active (or currently playing) step is programmed. - key input: selected: the selected step is programmed. - key input: increment: the selected step is programmed, and then the next step is selected. With this option, the "queue start" will reset the selected step. - When using the Sequencer Key Input on a ratchet output, a keyboard input of C will set the ratchet to 0, an input of C# will set the ratchet to 1, and so forth. - Sequencer Pages: you can now have a sequencer with more than 32 steps. Now instead of selecting how many steps you want the sequencer to have, you select how many visible steps you want the sequencer to have. There is a new option for selecting how many pages you want your sequencer to have. When you make connections to the step buttons, you are connecting to the first page of the first track. - to step through sequencer pages, select a step button, and then press page up and down while holding shift. - Sampler Updates: - Mono and Stereo WAV Support: the sampler now supports both mono and stereo WAV files, with a new 'channels' option allowing you to select the number of channels. - Additional Bit Depths: 8, 16, 24, and 32-bit WAV files are now supported.
