2.50 (June 22, 2026) -------------------- - Updated onboard file system to remove restrictions on maximal SD card size and cluster size formatting. - Sending a MIDI save preset command with a controller value of 127 will now save the current preset. - Fixed an issue where the digital mode LED would flicker when a digital mode was not selected and running a single engine.

How to update the Empress Effects Echosystem

Firmware is updated via SD card. Download the .bin file, copy it to the root of a FAT32-formatted SD card, insert the card into the Echosystem, then power on the pedal. The update process runs automatically. No computer software required.
