How to update the Dave Smith Instruments Mopho

Download the Mopho OS zip from the Sequential Mopho Operating System page and unzip it. Connect your computer's MIDI out to the Mopho's MIDI in through a MIDI interface. Open the Main OS .syx file in a SysEx utility (SysEx Librarian on Mac, MIDI-OX on Windows) or a DAW and transmit it. The display shows 'Main OS Load' and counts down during the transfer, then 'Writing Now!'. Do not turn the Mopho off while it is writing; normal operation resumes when the write is complete. The installed version is shown on power-up.
