How to update the Clank Chaos

1. Install the Silicon Labs CP210x USB-to-UART driver and STMicroelectronics STM32CubeProgrammer on your computer. 2. Download the latest Chaos firmware .bin file from the Clank firmware page. 3. Make sure Chaos is NOT connected to any power source. Connect a micro-USB cable to Chaos, hold the BOOT button next to the micro-USB port on the back of the module, plug the other end into your computer, then release BOOT. 4. In STM32CubeProgrammer select UART and the module's port (cu.SLAB_USBtoUART on macOS, usually the highest COM port on Windows), click Connect, open the .bin file, click Download, then Disconnect. 5. Reset the EEPROM: start Chaos in calibration mode (hold the encoder while powering up the case), press Probability, wait until the LEDs fade off, then press the encoder six times to exit calibration mode. 6. If Chaos is frozen, select all channels by turning the encoder to the right, then double-tap the Memory access button to clear the state.
