How to update the Zoom MS-50G+

Download the firmware zip for your computer (Windows or Mac) from the Zoom MS-50G+ support page and extract it. On Windows the standard driver must be installed first. Connect the MS-50G+ to the computer with a USB-C cable that supports data transfer (this turns the pedal on) and launch the updater application from the zip. Select 'ZOOM MS Plus Series' for both MIDI IN and MIDI OUT (click Rescan Device if the fields are empty) and confirm in the updater. Then disconnect the USB cable and connect it again: the indicator blinks while the update runs. Do not disconnect the cable or turn the power off during the update; if it fails, repeat the procedure from the beginning. When it completes, close the updater and disconnect the pedal. You can check the installed version in the pedal's menu under VERSION.
