How to update the Tasty Chips Electronics GR-1

1. Download the firmware .tgz from the GR-1 support page. Do not unpack it (Safari and Edge can corrupt .tgz downloads; use another browser if the update fails). 2. Copy the file to the root folder of a USB drive and plug the drive into one of the GR-1's USB ports. 3. Power on (or restart) the GR-1 and press Select within 5 seconds. The update takes less than 30 seconds. 4. Remove the USB drive and restart. Alternative: with a LAN cable connected to your router, press Shift+Perf and choose Check Firmware Upgrade to update online.
