- STEP and HARMONIC have been added to Oscillator Model.
- Added Pattern Chain function.
- A QUICK OVERWRITE has been added to save Tone and Pattern.
- The USB driver now supports Generic.
- Delay, Chorus, and Reverb can now be set in common on the system.
- You can now specify the timing in SUB STEP more finely.
- You can now use the step and keyboard buttons on the write screen as a keyboard for QWRTY placement.
- You can now turn the polarity ON or OFF using the [SHIFT]+[HOLD] button.
- You can now select the MIDI information you want to send.
- Porta Sw is now switched on and off on the MIDI CC65.
- You can now change the pattern by receiving a MIDI Program Change in addition to the Pattern screen.
- The number of UNDO/REDO can now be supported up to 10 times.
Bug Fixes
The following bugs have been fixed.
- The shuffle behavior when the number of steps is odd has been fixed.
- The tone may change unintentionally when you operate the PATTERN screen or MIXER screen.
- Sequencer operation may be delayed when using the DRAWING model.
- Some preset tones have been updated.
Download and unzip the system program. With the power off, connect the SH-4d to your computer via its USB Type-C port, then hold [SHIFT] and switch on the power: the SH-4d drive appears on the computer. Copy SH4d_UPA_up.bin to the root of the drive, then eject the drive (leave the USB cable connected). Press [SHIFT] to start the update (about 3 minutes). When "Turn power off" appears, switch off.
- The version number was updated due to production-related circumstances.
Product specifications are unaffected.

- Added "Voice Reserve" to PATTERN SETTINGS.
- BUBBLE in VISUAL ARPEGGIO can now be erased.
- When erasing notes in a RHYTHM Part, you can now choose between erasing all notes or erasing only the notes of the Current Instrument.
- Changed the category name "Synth Seq/Pop" to "Synth Pluck".
