How to update the Expert Sleepers Disting MK3

Download the firmware zip from the Expert Sleepers disting mk3 firmware page and unzip it. Copy the file image.hex to the root folder of a FAT32-formatted microSD card. Turn off the disting and insert the card into the socket on the PCB marked X1 (exposed contacts facing the edge of the PCB, angled side towards the front panel); observe basic ESD precautions. Turn on the disting with the S knob pressed and keep it pressed until LEDs 4, a and b light (if LEDs 3 and c flash alternately, no firmware file was found). Release the knob to start the update; do not remove the card or the power while LEDs a-d flash. When LEDs a and b flash alternately the update is complete: turn the disting off, remove the card and turn it back on.
