How to update the Eventide Eclipse

Two update methods available. (1) Compact Flash card: copy the extracted files to the root of a CF card (no subfolders), power down the Eclipse, insert the card, hold key '1' while powering on, wait for 'Programming Completed. Cycle Power'. (2) Serial cable (Windows only): connect a straight-through RS-232 cable and run the downloaded EXE. Units with older bootloader versions must first update the bootloader before updating the OS — check the included documentation for the correct sequence. After any OS update, accept the prompt to clear setups on first boot (presets are not erased, only LEVELS/SETUP options reset to defaults).
