Eventide Eclipse firmware

This is a full release with a large number of new presets as well as a number of bug fixes and improvements. Updated versions of the User, Presets and Algorithms Manuals are included. Since the installation of new software can cause unanticipated problems, it should NOT be installed close to a performance, tour or important session. Eclipse prior to this version can only read the FAT card format, and may hang if given a card formatted as FAT32. Cards above 1GB tend to be formatted as FAT32. If using a card to perform this update, you should either use a small card (256M or below), or reformat a larger card on a PC (not a Mac) and be sure to select FAT rather than FAT32. This issue is resolved by this update (see Fixes below). IMPORTANT: The installation of this software will erase all user presets created by earlier versions. For this reason it is essential that you backup all user presets prior to installation, either to a card or to a computer. If you use BLOCK COPY, do NOT try to backup factory presets at the same time (see Fixes below). When you first run this software, you will get a message saying that “Internal ram is new” and asking if you want to clear and format it. You MUST answer “yes” to this question. This will return the unit to Factory Defaults, so you may have to reconfigure your Eclipse before further use.
