Elektron has stopped releasing firmware updates for this device. The last release we recorded is dated 23 May 2016.

What's new in 1.32B

Compatible with all Monomachine versions. This release adds, among other things, improved handling of program change messages as well as +Drive locking functions. For a full list of changes, see the documentation included with the upgrade zip file.

You can still add it to your rig to keep an inventory and track its used market price.

How to update the Elektron Monomachine

One OS for every Monomachine: SFX-6, SFX-60, MKI, MKII and +Drive units all run the same Elektron_SFX6-60_OS1.32B file. Delivered as SysEx: unzip the OS package, open the .syx in the Elektron C6 SysEx Manager and send it to the unit while it sits in OS upgrade mode (see the manual). Elektron Transfer does not support the Monomachine.
