How to update the Der Mann mit der Maschine DROID Master 18

Read the release notes first. Download the firmware package from the DROID downloads page and unzip it. In the firmwares folder take the file for your master (master18-<version>.fw) and rename it to master18.fw. Copy it to the micro SD card, insert the card and press the button or power the master on: it updates itself (dark cyan progress bar), the LEDs flash and it restarts. Alternatively, with DROID Forge installed and the master connected, use File > Upgrade firmware of master in the Forge. Always install the DROID Forge version released together with the firmware and re-deploy your patch from the Forge afterwards. Never switch the MASTER18 off during an update.
