How to update the 4ms Spectral Multiband Resonator

The SMR updates through its audio bootloader. 1. Download the firmware .wav file (or the zip that contains it) from the Spectral Multiband Resonator section of the 4ms firmware page. Caution: the file is very loud. 2. Power off the SMR. Connect the audio output of a computer or phone to the Odds IN jack (mono or stereo cable). To monitor, connect the Evens OUT jack to an amp or speakers. 3. Set the computer/phone volume and the player volume to 100% and turn off all notification sounds (airplane mode on a phone). 4. Hold the ROTATE button while powering on the SMR. Release it when a single light is on, slowly changing color: the SMR is ready to receive firmware. 5. Play the .wav file into the Odds IN jack and let it play to the end (about 5 minutes).
