What's new in 2.00

V1.21 to V2.00 New Features - Added "DrumKit" track type, allowing up to 7 drum sounds in a single track - Added "Synth" track type, enabling drum tracks to be used as synth tracks - Extended Bar Length button functionality to Drum tracks - Enabled value changes via ALL knob rotation while pressing the following buttons: VOL+/-, PAGE, SCALE, OCTAVE, KEY, BPM+/-, SWING Fixed Problems - Playback timing becomes earlier when repeatedly performing quantized playback to bars after project changes during external clock sync.

How to update the Yamaha Seqtrak

Easiest: connect SEQTRAK to the SEQTRAK App (USB-C cable or wireless); the app tells you when an OS update is available, follow its instructions. Without the app: download the OS Updater zip from the firmware page, extract it and save the update file (.PGM) from the zip to a USB flash drive of 64MB or more. Turn SEQTRAK off, connect the drive, then hold the [KICK] knob and the [BAR LENGTH] button while turning it on. The LEDs flash during the update and SEQTRAK restarts by itself when it is done; if the Global Meter flashes red, run the update again. Do not power off or remove the drive while updating.
