What's new in 3.01

New features Now supports Expanded Softsynth Plugin for MONTAGE M/MODX M. Updated the initial control number settings for controllers used in DAW Remote. Fixed problems Fixed an issue where files created with MODX V1.10 or earlier could not be loaded (this issue did not occur with files created on MODX+ or MODX M). Fixed other minor problems.

How to update the Yamaha Montage M

Save all user data to a USB flash drive first: the update initializes all User memory. Download the MONTAGE M OS Updater zip from Yamaha (the full updater, or the smaller one from the previous version if your unit runs it) and unzip it. Copy only the .PGM file to a USB flash drive of over 8 GB that was formatted on the MONTAGE M, with no other files on it. Power off the MONTAGE M, connect only that drive to the [USB TO DEVICE] terminal and power on while holding [Cursor UP] and [UTILITY] until the YAMAHA logo appears. When 'Update completed.' appears, turn the instrument off and remove the drive. Power on and run Initialize All Data ([UTILITY] > [Settings] > [System]). Never switch off or remove the drive before the completion message.
