1. Download the firmware zip from the Sonicware downloads page, unzip it and copy SmplTrek.bin to the root folder of the SD card (computer card slot or the SmplTrek's card reader mode). 2. Put the card back into the SmplTrek, or leave card reader mode. 3. Use the AC adapter or new batteries. While pressing the Home button (house icon), press and hold the power button. 4. When the update screen opens, select SYSTEM UPDATE and press OK, then press OK again to start the update. Never turn off the power while updating. 5. When it completes, press the power button to shut the unit down, then restart it. Coming from version 1.x? Update to version 2.0 first.

Improved the MIDI CHANNEL settings where the output is always in AUTO CHANNEL when OUTPUT CHANNEL is set to AUTO.
Improved legato behavior of INST track.
Fixed an issue that could cause gaps in audio when returning to the home screen from the clip edit screen.
Fixed problems with EQ (Filter) in Performance mode.
Fixed a problem where creating a new scene would initialize the parameters set in Performance mode.
Fixed a problem when BPM SYNC is used in ANALOG DELAY.
Fixed a problem when using SC COMP.
Fixed a bug with the playback <-> pause icon display.
Several other minor bugs have been fixed.
