In version 1.5, the sample file browser and audio conversion features have been optimized for faster performance. As part of this update, the number of sample files per folder is now limited to 1,024.
If your folders exceed this limit, reorganize your folder and file structure before updating, and run the FILE DATABASE after the firmware update.

Use the AC adapter or new batteries and never interrupt the power during the update. Sample folders are limited to 1,024 files: reorganize any larger folder before updating. 1. Unzip the downloaded update file and copy the binary file (Lofi-12 XT.bin) to the root folder of the SD card, using the Lofi-12 XT's card reader mode or your computer's card slot. 2. Leave card reader mode, or put the SD card back into the Lofi-12 XT. 3. While pressing PAD, press and hold the power button. 4. Select SYSTEM UPDATE and press OK, then press OK again to start the update. 5. When it completes, turn the power off and on again. 6. If you added or reorganized sample files, update the audio file database: on the SND screen press the A knob (TAG SEARCH), then the B knob.
