How to update the Pittsburgh Modular Taiga

Download the Desktop Firmware Update zip from the Taiga page and unzip it; it contains the updater (MultiChip Updater for Windows, Pittsburgh Updater for Mac) and a .dfu firmware file. With the Taiga Desktop unplugged, remove the six front panel screws, lift the module out of the case and unplug the ribbon connector. Connect a micro-USB cable from the computer to the port on the back right edge of the module's circuit board. Open the updater, click Load, select the .dfu file and click Update; wait for 'Update Successful', then unplug the USB cable. Re-mount the module without disconnecting its other ribbon cables and replace the screws. Finally power on, hold Oct-, Oct+ and Dynamics Mode for about five seconds until the LEDs change (factory reset), and switch the Taiga off and on again.
