How to update the Montreal Assembly 856 for ZELLERSASN

Firmware files are for V2 units (with expression jack and MIDI thru); V1 units use a different procedure. Updating wipes the presets. On a Windows computer install STMicroelectronics DfuSe and open DfuSe Demo. Disconnect power from the 856, connect the mini USB jack (below the DC jack) to the computer, then apply 9V power; the USB cable must be connected before powering up. When Windows has detected the device, click Choose in the Upgrade or Verify Action section, select the .dfu firmware file and click Upgrade (confirm the warning). After erase and upgrade complete, disconnect USB and power, then reconnect power to reboot.
