What's new in mp86

New firmware version mp86 is available here: http://www.makenoisemusic.com/firmware/ This version contains all previous version changes, and reduces the module's noise floor. If your Mimeophon has a serial number of #9256 or higher, you do NOT need this update. Check the Zone Activity Window for correct colors on power up. MP86 Zone = Teal/Red.

How to update the Make Noise Mimeophon

Firmware is installed via WAV audio playback. Power on the system while holding the SKEW button — the Zone window will turn white/pink and all three buttons will light up. Release SKEW, then play the firmware WAV file from a computer or audio source at full volume into the module's audio input. The Activity Windows will flash to confirm reception. Once complete, all lights flash and the audio tone stops. Power cycle to verify. No dedicated software required.
