It is analog or fixed-function hardware, so there is nothing to update.

You can still add it to your rig to keep an inventory and track its used market price.

The Clarett+ OctoPre has no USB or computer connection (it links to your interface over ADAT and word clock), so it has no firmware for users to update. Focusrite Control is only needed for the audio interface it is connected to.
