How to update the Bastl Instruments Kastle 2 FX Wizard

Download the firmware ZIP from bastl-instruments.com/support/updates and unzip it to get the .uf2 file. Connect the Kastle 2 FX Wizard to your computer with a USB-C cable. Turn the power switch off, then hold SHIFT and turn the power switch on. The unit boots silently into Update Mode and appears on your computer as a drive named RPI-RP2. Copy the .uf2 file to that drive; the upload can take up to 2 minutes or more. To check the installed version, hold MODE while powering on: the unit announces the firmware version through its audio output. Power-cycle to exit.
