How to update the XAOC Devices Zadar

Download the firmware zip from the Zadar page and unzip it; the firmware is a long audio file (about 15 minutes). Power up the case while holding Zadar's MENU button to open the maintenance menu, select System Update with the red encoder A, then play the firmware audio file loudly and without interruption into the TRIG input of channel 1. Use the headphone output of an external audio interface (phone and laptop outputs are too weak), a simple audio player rather than a DAW, and turn off all system notifications. Zadar shows a counter of received packages; after an error press MENU and play the file again from the beginning. Units on very old firmware should first install the included bootloader file the same way and calibrate the module afterwards, as described in the included notes.
