How to update the Waldorf Pulse 2

Download the Firmware folder from the downloads at the end of the Pulse 2 FAQ page and unzip the newest Pulse_2_Firmware zip (one .mid file). Store your presets via SysEx first. Connect the Pulse 2 directly to the computer by USB, without a hub. With Spectre: in Audio/MIDI choose the Pulse 2 as MIDI output, click Upgrade and select the .mid file, then wait until the transfer ends and the Pulse 2 restarts. Without Spectre: play the .mid file to the Pulse 2 at 60 BPM from a DAW (not Ableton Live or Bitwig) or from the system's media player.
