What's new in 1.06

Additional Functions USB and MIDI have been added as MIDI clock sources. A function enabling switching soft thru on and off has been added. Please refer to the "TR-09 Owner's Manual" for detailed information in the [ Owner's Manuals ]. Serato DJ Pro Ver.2.1.1 or later is now supported. Synchronized playback with compositions on Serato DJ Pro is possible. ( FEB 2019 ) Please refer to the "Roland TR / Serato DJ Pro Connection Guide" for detailed information in the [ Owner's Manuals ]. * Using this functionality requires a DJ controller compatible with Serato DJ Pro. * The Roland DJ-202, DJ-505, and DJ-808 cannot be used as the DJ controller.

How to update the Roland TR-09

Update via USB mass storage. Connect TR-09 to computer via USB while holding the ENTER button during power-on. The TR-09 mounts as a USB drive. Copy the BQ2_UPD.BIN file (extracted from the downloaded zip) to the root of the TR-09 drive. Safely eject, then press ENTER to start the update. Do not power off during the update.
