What's new in 1.13

[ Additional function ] Five new Trigger Type selection are available: "RT30K", "RT30HR", "RT30H_SN", "RT30H_TM", and "KT10." <Details of two Trigger Types for RT-30H> RT30H_SN: Suitable when the RT-30H is mounted on a snare drum. RT30H_TM: Suitable when the RT-30H is mounted on toms. Advanced Noise Cancel Parameter is added, specific for the use of "RT-30K" and "RT-30HR." For details, please refer to "About the RT-30's "Noise Cancel" Function (TD-30_l_noise_e01_W.pdf)" in the [ Owner's Manuals ]. [ Functionality Improvement ] Hi-Hat Behavior with the MIDI Note Number The TD-30 will trigger the sound of "HI-HAT Edge (RIM)" without that of "HI-HAT Bow (HEAD)" when you setup the MIDI Note Number of "Closed" for "HI-HAT Edge (RIM)."

How to update the Roland TD-30

If the TD-30 USB MIDI driver is installed on your computer, uninstall it first. Save your data to a USB flash drive formatted on the TD-30 ([USB MEM], then [F1] SAVE). Download and unzip the system program from the Roland support page and copy all update files (not the folder) to the root of the USB flash drive. With the TD-30 off, connect the drive to the USB MEMORY port, hold [USB MEM] and switch on until "Please Wait..." appears, then press [USB MEM] to start. When "Update Completed." appears, switch off and remove the drive. Then run a factory reset ([SETUP], [F4] F RESET) and reload your saved data.
