What's new in 1.07

[ Ver.1.07 ] Bug fix: When you exchanged samples between two pads assigning a WAV file and a AIFF file, the samples were lost.

Add it to your rig to keep an inventory, track its used market price and get an alert if a new firmware ships.

How to update the Roland SP-404SX

Download the system update from the SP-404SX Updates & Drivers page on roland.com and extract the zip to get the file sp404sx_up.bin. Copy sp404sx_up.bin to the root of an SD card formatted in the SP-404SX (at least 2 MB free; back up the card first) and un-mount the card safely. Turn the SP-404SX off, insert the card and power it on with the AC adaptor (not batteries): the update starts automatically, the display shows "UPd" and then "Fin" after about ten seconds. Never turn the unit off during the update. Turn it off, remove the card and delete the update file from it before normal use.
