How to update the Roland Fantom-6 EX

Download and unzip the system program from the Roland support page (it is for the FANTOM-6/7/8 EX and for a FANTOM-6/7/8 with the FANTOM EX Upgrade applied). Copy all files in the folder to the root of a USB flash drive formatted on the FANTOM. Connect it to the USB MEMORY port, hold [WRITE] and switch on the power, keeping [WRITE] held until "Insert Memory To USB (board1)" appears. When "Update (board1) End..." appears, do not switch off: move the USB flash drive to the EXT DEVICE jack. When "Update (board2) End..." appears, switch off and remove the drive.
