What's new in 2.03

[ Bug Fixes ] The following bugs were fixed. When saving a studio set, entering a save-destination number using the pad results in the data being saved at a number different from the one entered. The RATE value for the LFO fails to be synchronized to an external MIDI clock. Data downloaded from Axial sometimes cannot be imported. If a data-import operation for the added tone data downloaded from Axial is not possible, carry out the procedure described below, then do a data-import operation again. * If the data-import operation for the data from Axial is possible, carrying out the procedure below is not necessary. Update the FA-06/FA-07/FA-08 system firmware to version 2.03 or later. Hold down the [ PREVIEW ] button and switch on the power. The message "Wave Update Mode" appears on the display. Hold down the [ SHIFT ] button and press the [ WRITE ] button. When the message "Unlocked" appears on the display, turn off the power.

How to update the Roland FA-08

USB stick update. Same firmware as FA-06/FA-07. Copy FA_UPA.BIN to root of USB flash drive, connect to USB FOR UPDATE port, hold WRITE button while powering on (~3 min).
