What's new in 1.3.3

Firmware 1.3.3 (2025-06-12): Addresses an issue that prevented a successful update from FW 1.0.3. Firmware 1.3.1 (2025-03-03): Detection improvements for MADI signals, enhanced MIDI response, faster routing/preset loading, network configuration at device level, improved WebUI visualization. Firmware 1.2.1 (2024-02-05): Dante IP Core update (v4.2.5.6) addressing audio glitches. Firmware 1.2.0 (2023-12-19): MIDI over MADI support, level meter scales, ADAT routing adjustments at different sample rates. Firmware 1.1.0 (2023-03-17): ADAT routing fixes, static IP configuration via Dante Controller, network port switching visualization.

How to update the RME 12Mic-D

Download the latest firmware (.swu file) from the Drivers tab on the RME 12Mic-D product page (rme-audio.de). Connect the 12Mic-D via USB or Ethernet and open the Web Remote in a browser. Go to Settings > Firmware Update, click 'Select .swu Firmware File', locate the unpacked file, then click 'Start Firmware Update'. All presets and settings are retained after the update.
