How to update the Nord Electro 3 HP 73

Use the Nord Electro 3 HP OS update (the 61/73 models have a different one). 1. Download the OS update for your system (macOS .dmg or Windows .zip) from the Nord Electro 3 downloads page linked above. 2. Windows only: install the Clavia USB Driver from the same page first. 3. Connect the instrument to your computer with a USB cable and quit Nord Sound Manager. 4. Open the .dmg (macOS) or unzip the .zip (Windows) and run the update application inside; it shows the OS currently in the unit. 5. Click Update: the unit reboots into update mode, receives the new OS and restarts by itself. Click Done. Do not turn it off or disconnect the USB cable during the update. If the unit does not start, power it on while holding Shift + Store to enter update mode, then run the updater again.
