How to update the Faderfox PC12

Install a SysEx tool (SysEx Librarian on Mac, Bome SendSX on Windows) and download the PC12 .syx firmware file from the Updates section of the PC12 page. Hold the red SHIFT key while plugging in the USB cable and release it when the display lights up; the display shows the current version and, after 3 seconds, 'Ud00' (ready to receive). In the SysEx tool select the 'Faderfox PC12' MIDI output, load the .syx file and send it. The display counts up to 'Ud99' and the new firmware starts automatically. If 'UdEr' appears, stop the transfer, press SHIFT briefly and send the file again once 'Ud00' is back. Finally reconnect the USB cable and check the version in the display.
