How do I update the Faderfox MX12?
Install a SysEx tool (SysEx Librarian on Mac, Bome SendSX on Windows) and download the MX12 .syx firmware file from the Updates section of the MX12 page. Hold the red SHIFT key while plugging in the USB cable and release it when the display lights up; the display shows the current version and, after 3 seconds, 'Ud00'… Full instructions on Faderfox's official firmware page.
