What's new in 1.1.14

Bug Fixes: • Transpose now follows original implementation for Arp playback • Portamento now follows original implementation for Arp and Sequencer when using off/on. As the MS1MK has no auto, any steps programmed with glide in a sequence will play when GLIDE is in the OFF position. Turn Glide to 0 if the effect is not wanted • Portamento scaling improved to give smoother control and playback • Portamento start time improved • Random LFO now clocks from external sync in • If EXT clock is selected, a sequence will only start when PLAY is pressed • When changing sequence patterns from one to another the transition will be in time Improvement: • When creating a sequence press and hold a key, then press HOLD to add glide to a step. Glide on a sequence step is active in the GLIDE OFF position and can be controlled with the GLIDE amount. • Added ‘Note Priority’ settings, its default as ‘MS-1’ • If using a key to transpose the currently playing SEQ, the transpose value won’t apply to the next recorded sequence when recalled • Added ‘Local Keyboard on/off’ setting in app, default as ‘ON’

How to update the Behringer MS-1

Install the SynthTribe app (Windows/macOS from the Downloads tab of the MS-1 product page, or iOS). Connect the MS-1 to your computer directly with a USB cable (no hub). Launch SynthTribe, click Get Started and open the Update tab: if a newer firmware is available, click Update. Do not disconnect or power off the MS-1 until the update has finished.
