Avid Pro Tools Carbon

Pro Tools Carbon firmware is managed automatically by Pro Tools and Avid Carbon Central. Install the latest version of Pro Tools via Avid Link or my.avid.com, then launch Pro Tools and set the Playback Engine to Pro Tools Carbon (Setup > Playback Engine). If a firmware update is required, Pro Tools applies it automatically at startup. Avid Carbon Central (macOS menu bar app) also manages firmware and displays the current firmware version.
