How to update the Arturia MiniFreak

Firmware is installed by MiniFreak V (Arturia's official steps): 1. Register MiniFreak V in your Arturia account (serial number + unlock code), then activate and install or update it with Arturia Software Center. 2. Connect the MiniFreak directly to the computer by USB (no hub, extension, adapter or dock). 3. Open MiniFreak V as a standalone application. If the unit is not up to date, MiniFreak V offers the firmware update automatically: accept it. 4. Only to reinstall or downgrade: download the .mnf file from Arturia's Downloads & Manuals page, then in MiniFreak V click FW Update > Update from file and load it. If the update fails or the unit does not reboot by itself: do NOT power-cycle the MiniFreak. Close and reopen MiniFreak V and run the update again; if it still fails, contact Arturia support without rebooting the unit.
