The manufacturer has stopped releasing firmware updates for this device.
You can still add it to your rig to keep an inventory and track its used market price.
Firmware is delivered via the Rhythm Wolf Tuning Utility (Windows/Mac), available in the Docs & Downloads section of the Akai product page. Connect the unit to your computer via USB and to your audio interface via the SYNTH OUT jack. Run the utility — it performs a one-time firmware flash followed by bass synth tuning calibration. Disconnect all non-essential USB devices and avoid USB hubs during the update.
