How to update the Akai Force

Three update methods: (1) PC/Mac updater app — download from the Force product page downloads section, connect Force via USB, launch app and select Update Force; (2) USB drive — copy the .img file to the root of a FAT32/exFAT USB drive, connect to Force, select USB Drive Update in Preferences; (3) Online update — requires firmware v3.10+, connect via WiFi or Ethernet, go to Preferences > Info > Online Update. Back up data before updating.
