What's new in 2.0

Over 25 improvements and functions added, including: compatibility with Akai S1000/S3000/S5000/S6000/Z4/Z8/MPC4000 sample libraries, automation recording for effects parameters, Controller Grid Edit window, MultiEdit for simultaneous pad parameter editing, enhanced Zoom in Chopshop.

How to update the Akai MPC 5000

Update via CompactFlash card. Download the OS zip, extract to a CF card, insert into the MPC 5000, and follow on-screen prompts to update. No computer connection required during the update itself.
