Firmware discontinued

The manufacturer has stopped releasing firmware updates for this device. Last known version: 2.02.

You can still add it to your rig to keep an inventory and track its used market price.

Connect the V-Synth XT to your computer via USB. Power on the unit while holding the [1] key of the numeric keypad -- the display shows "PROGRAM Updater". Press [2] to select "Update by USB Mass Storage". Copy the program ROM file (V-SynthXT.rom) -- and the internal image file (V-SynthXTDiskImage.bin) if you want a full update -- onto the drive that appears, then safely eject and power off. Power the unit back on while holding [1] again to start the update, then verify the new OS version once complete.

2.02
This is the latest operating system for the V-Synth XT. Please refer to the readme.pdf for the update procedure. This update resolves a rare issue where patches would not save correctly. (Also published as a separate Mac download at the same version.)
