What's new in 1.08

Ver. 1.08 (Nov 2021): The version number has been updated due to management-related circumstances. Product specifications are unaffected. Ver. 1.07 (Jan 2019): Added USB and MIDI as MIDI clock sources, soft thru on/off switching, support for Serato DJ Pro 2.1.1 or later. Ver. 1.06 (May 2018): Version number updated due to production-related circumstances. Product specifications are unaffected. Ver. 1.03 (Sep 2017): Fixed behavior in MANUAL PLAY mode with BASIC-VARIATION:AB and AUTO FILL IN:MANUAL.

How to update the Roland TR-08

Update via USB mass storage. Connect TR-08 to computer via USB while holding the TAP button during power-on. The TR-08 mounts as a USB drive. Copy the BQ3_UPD.BIN file (extracted from the downloaded zip) to the root of the TR-08 drive. Safely eject and the update applies automatically.
